FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay up front for my policy?
No. We understand that moving is expensive, so you’ll pay nothing upfront for your policy; we’ll charge monthly.
Is the cover on a new-for-old basis?
If an item is damaged and cannot be economically repaired, we’ll replace it with a new one of comparable quality.
Does each tenant take out a policy, or does it cover the household?
Your policy will cover you and anyone living with you under your tenancy agreement. Other tenants will have to take out their own policy if they don’t meet this criteria.
Do I have to specify all of my individual items?
You'll need to specify any items inside the property with a value of over £2,500, such as precious metals or stones, jewellery, watches, or works of art. All of your other belongings will be covered up to the total amount that you've chosen to insure.
